Jacques Bonvin obtained his master in laws from Geneva in 1989 with honours. He was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 1992, where he was ranked first. He has extensive international experience, having worked in London (with Monckton Chambers, Grays Inn, Slaughter and May and Herbert Smith), Zürich and Geneva. Jacques specialises in corporate law, M&A and corporate finance, including private equity and venture capital and TMT. He regularly lectures CEOs and CFOs on M&A and transactions; he is the head of the legal and tax chapter of the SECA (Swiss Private Equity and Corporate Finance Association) for the French part of Switzerland and is a lecturer at the Executive MBA in Management of Technology (MOT) of EPFL-HEC Lausanne.
