Izabella Dudek-Urbanowicz is a Polish and European patent and trademark attorney and a Managing Director of Patpol Kancelaria Patentowa Sp.zo.o. Her key areas of practice include trademarks, industrial designs and domain names. She represents Polish and international clients in litigation before the Polish Patent Office, Polish courts and the EU Intellectual Property Office. She provides opinions and legal advice on various aspects of trademark and industrial design protection and conducts trademark and design searches to check potential registrability. Ms Dudek-Urbanowicz also handles infringement cases, drafts agreements and conducts negotiations in disputes over trademark and industrial design rights, to help the parties to reach an amicable settlement.
From 2013 to 2016 Ms Dudek-Urbanowicz was the head of the trademark and industrial design department. Currently she is a managing director at Patpol Kancelaria Patentowa Sp.zo.o. She has been a trademark attorney since 2002 and has a solid legal background, with an LLM from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Warsaw University. She is a member of the International Trademark Association, the European Communities Trademark Association and the Pharmaceutical Trademarks Group. She has authored many publications on the legal protection of intellectual and industrial property.
