Vincent van der Lans heads the tax practice in Loyens & Loeff's New York office, which provides Dutch and Luxembourg tax advice to US clients. Vincent specializes in international tax matters, particularly for US multinational corporations, financial institutions and investment funds (including private equity and venture capital). From 2008 to 2011 he worked at Loyens & Loeff's New York office as an associate. He frequently acts as speaker at international tax seminars and conferences, including Loyens & Loeff's own New York tax seminar, and he publishes regularly in tax literature. In addition to Expert Guides, Vincent has been recognized for his work by other leading publications, including The Legal 500, and is quoted from time to time by Tax Analysts and International Tax Review about corporate tax developments in Europe.
Vincent is a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers (NOB), the International Fiscal Association (IFA), the Foreign Lawyers Forum of the American Bar Association, Section of Taxation (ABA) and the Tax Review paper and discussion group.
