Francesco Rotondi is a Founding Partner of LABLAW – Studio Legale.
Francesco Rotondi specialises in labour law and industrial relations. He assists clients in the industrial and services sectors to manage human resources, corporate reorganisation projects and staff cuts. He also has specific expertise in managing labour law disputes deriving from extraordinary company transactions such as mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
He is an adjunct Professor of Labour Law at Cattaneo University – LIUC Castellanza. Furthermore he is contributing Editor.
Francesco joined the law firm of Trifirò & Partners in 1991 where he later became a partner. In 2001 he joined the law firm of Hammonds Rossotto as the partner in charge of the Department of Labour Law and Industrial Relations. In 2006 Francesco became a founding partner of LABLAW.
Based in the major cities of Italy – Milan, Padua, Pescara, Genoa, Naples and Bari today LABLAW is the first boutique employment law firm specialized in labor law and industrial relations in Italy by number of professionals and territorial distribution.
Francesco Rotondi is also a founding member of L&E Global (http://leglobal.org/), an international integrated alliance of premier labor and employment law boutiques, with more than 1,500 employment law experts in over 30 countries.
Francesco is regularly recognized by the international legal community as a leader in his field. Some of his more notable national and international achievements include his nomination as: Lawyer of the Year – Legal Community Awards 2016 and Lawyer of the Year – Litigation– Top Legal Awards 2016; Chambers & Partners Europe 2016; Legal 500 2007 – 2013; Who's Who Legal 2011-2013; Best lawyer of the year 2012, Lawyer of the year – Trade union and industrial relations in 2013, Labour Lawyer of the year in 2015. Furthemore, in 2015 he stood out as the only labour law expert among the 40 most influential under 50-aged Italian lawyers.
Francesco Rotondi is a member of the Italian Association of Labour Law Experts: the Italian Employment Lawyers Association (AGI), the International Bar Association (IBA), the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA), and the Scientific Committee of IPSOA (Postgraduate Institute of Business Administration).
Francesco Rotondi is also a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Personnel Directors (AIDP), member of the Board of Arbitrators of Assolavoro (Confindustria, Association of Italian Industries).
Francesco is also a regular speaker at leading Italian academic institutions.
