Luca Failla is specialised in providing assistance to Italian and foreign businesses in each field of labour and employment law, Italian employment litigation, manager's contract negotiation, liability of administrators, protection of competition, personnel reduction, corporate reorganisation and outsourcing, trade union negotiations, Privacy, employment contracts, dismissals, pension schemes as well as company and commercial law.
Luca commenced his career in Milan in 1989 working with recognised Italian law firms such as Menegazzi and Trifirò e Associati. He joined Abbatescianni-Osborne Clarke in January 1996 as a Partner where he led the Employment and Industrial Relations Department. Ten years later, in January 2006, Luca became a Founding Partner of LABLAW

Some of his more notable national and international achievements in recent years includes his nomination as: The Lawyer European Legal Awards 2012 ; European Managing Partner of the Year – Nominee, Legal Week Awards 2010 – 2011 European Managing Partner of the Year - Nominee , TopLegal 2010 – 2012 Labour Expert of the Year – Nominee and in 2013, during the award ceremony of the LegalCommunity Labour Awards, he received the Lawyer of the Year – Litigation award.
According to a Survey in 2015 carried out by the authoritative TopLegal, Luca Failla is recognized as a "Market Leader" in the field of extraordinary consultancy/M&A, litigation, senior manager contracts and Director liability.
Since 2012 he has been an adjunt lecturer of the Casamassima Jean Monnet LUM University (Bari).
Luca Failla is a member of national employment associations, such as the Italian Employment Lawyers Association (AGI), and internationally associations, such as the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA), the International Bar Association (IBA, where he occupies the position of Newsletter Officer of the Employment and Industrial Relations Committee and the American Bar Association (ABA). He is also an active member of the board of ASLA – the Association of Law Firms in Italy.
