Harry Rubin is a partner and the Chair of Kramer Levin of the Technology and IP Transactional practice. He is a globally recognized authority intellectual property (IP) centric transactions. Harry is former Co-Chair of the Technology Committee of the International Bar Association.
Harry has extensive experience in the representation of leading private equity and venture capital firms, and companies, ranging from start-ups to leading multinationals, in the technology, advanced materials, pharma, biotech and medical device, luxury and branded products, travel, business intelligence and financial service spaces in: IP investments, acquisitions, mergers, spin-outs, strategic alliances, all forms of licensing, outsourcing and service arrangements, and IP protection and commercialization strategies. He has been involved in numerous high profile transactions and has special expertise in cross-border deals, especially involving Europe, Israel, India and China.
He has published extensively on those topics. Harry's book International Technology Transfers is widely considered the standard reference text in the field. Harry has received numerous leading professional honours, including: Euromoney's Best of the Best in Information Technology; The Best Lawyers in America,; Intellectual Asset Management' Guide to the World's 300 Leading IP Strategists ; Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business; and New York and California Super Lawyers.
Harry is a graduate of Harvard University and Columbia law School. He grew up in Germany and Israel and transacts business in English German, Hebrew and French.
