Rolf Heinrich is partner in the transfer pricing service line at KPMG Munich office. He is a Certified German Tax Adviser (Steuerberater) and holds a doctor's degree in business administration (PhD). Rolf has 24 years' professional experience in various sectors, including logistics, automotive, pharmaceutical and energy sectors. Before joining KPMG in 1999, he worked for other Big Four firms in Frankfurt.
Rolf has advised multinational companies in all areas of transfer pricing including planning, documentation and post-merger integration. The focal points of his work in the area of international tax and transfer pricing have been the development and implementation of transfer pricing systems for multinational corporations, crossborder base-shifting issues and the defence of transfer prices during tax audits. He has also specialised in assisting clients in the course of competent authority procedures and Advanced Pricing Agreements (APA's). In this context he established a strong network with the competent German tax authorities as well as with KPMG offices in other jurisdictions like the US and Japan.
Rolf regularly gives lectures and seminars and his work has been documented in several publications.
