Jaap Reyneveld is a partner with Meijburg & Co in Amsterdam and a member of the Dutch KPMG's Global Transfer Pricing Services (GTPS) practice.
Jaap has conducted numerous transfer pricing and value chain transformation studies, developing transfer pricing strategies and providing documentation for multinational enterprises operating in the Netherlands. He has assisted many multinational clients in handling Dutch tax authorities' transfer pricing enquiries and obtaining competent authority/arbitration relief. Jaap has extensive experience in completing advance pricing agreements with the Dutch tax authorities. In addition, he has conducted tax valuations, both with respect to enterprises and to intellectual property. The industries in which he has specific experience include E-commerce, ENR/Oil&Gas, financial services, automotive, and logistics. Jaap currently focuses on assisting multinationals to respond to the challenges raised by the recent OECD/BEPS and EU developments, in particular where it concerns transfer pricing.
Prior to joining Meijburg & Co, Jaap was engaged with the Dutch tax authorities in various functions for eight years. He worked as an auditor at the Tax Department of Large Enterprises in The Hague for four years. After that, he was assigned as a team leader for two years at the Auditing Department of the Tax Revenue of the Netherlands Antilles in Curaçao. During his last year with the Dutch tax authorities he worked for the Department of Large Enterprises in Amsterdam. He was engaged in audit assignments regarding multinational enterprises, including transfer pricing audits. In addition, he was account manager for several multinational enterprises.
Jaap holds an MA in Economics and a post-academic degree in Accountancy. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers (NOB) and of the Royal Dutch Institute of Chartered Accountants (NBA). Jaap lectures on various topics concerning Transfer Pricing at IBFD, the NBA and the NOB. He regularly publishes on transfer pricing topics in both national and international professional magazines.
