Marcel Dietrich is a partner in the Competition | Regulatory and Corporate practice teams as well as in the White Collar | Investigations working group. His practice focuses on Swiss and European competition and antitrust law as well as on administrative law and regulated markets.
He also advises on compliance matters and internal investigations. With regard to regulated markets, he specializes in particular on energy, healthcare and pharma, media and telecommunication, infrastructure and transport as well as on public procurement.
Marcel Dietrich graduated in law and obtained a doctorate in 1995 from the University of Fribourg. In 1996, he graduated as Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Leicester. He was admitted to the bar in 1990. He is a member of various national and international competition law associations. Marcel Dietrich regularly publishes and lectures on various subjects of competition law and administrative law, and is a co-editor and co-author of one of the leading text books on Swiss competition law.
