Martyn Jones advises UK and overseas clients in the pharmaceuticals and healthcare sector on a range of transactions, including cross-border and domestic M&A, joint-ventures and commercial agreements. He has advised on transactions involving companies at all stages of development, from seed financing and other early-stage investments to acting on acquisitions and disposals of major pharmaceuticals companies.
An English law qualified lawyer, Martyn also has experience in public M&A, including class 1 transactions and return of capital to shareholders. Clients turn to him frequently for his industry-specific expertise in negotiating key documentation, leading due diligence exercises, and advising on high value transactions.
Martyn spent four years in the firm's Moscow office, providing English law advice in relation to international and Russian transactions, including drafting and negotiating key transaction documents and advising on major projects including joint ventures involving foreign direct investment into Russia.
Martyn was educated at BPP University Law School and Cambridge University.
