Andrew is partner with the Toronto based law firm of Heal & Co LLP Heal & Co is a is a boutique law firm specializing in the professional liability defence of municipal, building and construction law claims, and construction law matters more generally. The firm's founding partners have over two decades of experience in providing legal services to the construction industry, and lead a team of lawyers and professional staff dedicated to and focused on construction law.

Andrew has practised for almost 25 years dealing with construction projects in trouble. Andrew is certified as a Specialist in Construction Law by the Law Society of Upper Canada. Andrew has also been recognized by Lexpert 2014 as a leading practitioner in Construction Law.
Andrew is a past Chair of the Ontario Bar Association Construction Section, and presently the Secretary of the National Construction Section of the Canadian Bar Association. Andrew is an International Member of the International Division of the Construction Law Forum of the American Bar Association, and a member of the International Bar Association.
Andrew and the firm are members of, and have spoken and written at many Construction Industry events over the years, including presentations at the: Canadian Construction Association, Toronto Construction Association – Allied Professions Committee, Ontario General Contractors Association, Council of Ontario Construction Associations, Ontario Association of Architects, and the Consulting Engineers of Ontario. Heal & Co. LLP is an active member and sponsor of these and other Industry Associations.
Over the years, Andrew has chaired, presented and spoken at many national Construction Law and Construction Industry events. Andrew counsels and encourages exploring alternative means for resolving disputes whenever appropriate, including the early mediation of construction disputes, and commercial arbitration of construction disputes, where appropriate.
