Ozan Karaduman is a Managing Associate in Gün + Partners and he has been working for the firm since 2007. Ozan specialises in the firm's corporate and M&A, energy and natural resources practises and technology, media and telecom industry practice.
Ozan has been involved in numerous M&A transactions, assisted foreign and Turkish companies to establish joint ventures, drafted and negotiated SPAs, SHAs and JV agreements, conducted due diligence processes, prepared and re-structured various types of commercial agreements.
Ozan has advised on energy projects, assisting clients in structuring their projects and providing them with legal opinion on a continuous basis. He is particularly involved in the oil and electricity markets dealing with a number of areas varying from oil upstream activities to electricity generation.
Ozan has broad experience in telecommunication matters and has assisted various major multinational software and hardware companies in their projects in Turkey and represented them before the Turkish Regulatory Authority. Ozan's practice in telecommunication sector includes VoIP, software licensing, IT Outsourcing, infrastructure operation, numbering, encryption, radio broadcasting and authorization of the electronic communication services.
He is a member of the Istanbul Bar Association, International Bar Association (IBA), International Association of Privacy Professionals Turkey (IAPP-co-chair of Turkey KnowledgeNet), Galatasaray University Alumni Association (President), Galatasaray Education Foundation (Board).
