Ulrike Gantenberg is the founder of Gantenberg Dispute Experts and highly recognized in the field of dispute resolution – in particular for national and international arbitration. She acts as counsel and arbitrator in complex litigation and international arbitration proceedings (ad hoc, DIS, ICC, LCIA, VIAC, SCC etc.). Two main core areas of Ulrike’s practice are turn-key construction (including energy related projects) and post M&A. She relies on her extensive experience as an advisor for corporate and M&A.
As a qualified German lawyer with experience of working in France, Ulrike Gantenberg is particularly dedicated to international work due to her international clients and her global network. Besides German, she speaks English and French fluently. Her experience includes arbitration proceedings under various jurisdictions (including Germany, Denmark, Greece, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland and Turkey). Her vast experience as arbitrator impacts her quality of counsel work. Ulrike combines technical expertise with strategic advice to pursue or defend claims on behalf of her clients. She frequently speaks and publishes on issues of international arbitration and international private law.
Ulrike Gantenberg is a member of the board of directors of the German Institution of Arbitration (DIS), member of the chair of the working group for alternative dispute resolution of the German Bar Association (DAV), Member of the Arbitration Court of the Swiss Chambers’ Arbitration Institute (SCAI), Member of the International Advisory Board of VIAC and co-heads the Dispute Resolution Forum Duesseldorf/Koeln (DRF).
