Vincenzo Jandoli, partner of the Law firm AA Franzosi Dal Negro Setti and senior Partner of the IP department of the same firm, joined it more than 25 years ago and is specialized in different IP areas of consulting activity (such as giving assistance to Italian companies abroad- thanks to a good and relevant network of colleagues worldwide, created through ongoing cooperation and teamwork and to foreign companies in Italy) and litigation, including:
- patents, design, trademarks, know – how, copyright; denomination of origin;
- licensing, online/Facebook copyright infringement, e-commerce;
- unfair competition and contracts concerning technology protection;
- advertising, through consultancy and assistance (specially to support marketing activities) in the advertising campaigns of products for large scale distribution and in the litigation before the Advertising Authority.
His most noteworthy characteristics are the capacity to face complicated cases and render them affordable and manageable and to work in a team of 5 other partners in the same IP department. The IP department has a total of 15 lawyers and is one of the biggest IP departments in Italy, Vincenzo works closely with all of them sharing litigation strategies. His attention to detail when writing can be considered substantial, together with his team's research skills when it comes to analyzing new cases or developing new strategy before taking them to Court. His exceptional time management skills enable him to complete work, not only within a short amount of time, but also to an exceptionally high level.
In general his ability to reveal reasonable judgement when faced with a case, enables him to be able to deal with a variety of cases, varying from simple cases to really complex ones.
Furthermore, his enthusiasm for teamwork with colleagues enables him to enhance the efforts of all in order to achieve excellent results.
Vincenzo is an author of several publications concerning IP issues in Italy and elsewhere around the world and he collaborates with ItaliaOggi newspaper and with the weekly magazine ItaliaOggiSette. Vincenzo is also co-author of International Patent Litigation "How and where to win the case"? (Bloomberg edition 2014, following collaboration with a team of skilled IP litigators in more than 30 Countries all over the world).
His professional experience furthermore comprises relevant academic activity in Italy, and abroad, and as a speaker at Italian and International conferences. He is an honorary member of the Centre for International Legal Studies of Salzburg and of the international associations of IP laywers: LES and AIPPI.
