Hariharan Gangadharan is a Partner with Dhruva Advisors based in Mumbai. He has significant experience in domestic and cross-border tax advisory and controversies, structuring of inbound and outbound investments and international tax and treaty related issues.
Hariharan is a part of the firm's technical group where he helps evolve firm positions on contentious issues and works with teams across India on complex domestic and cross border tax issues. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing research and evaluation of complex tax issues at a firm-wide level.
Prior to joining Dhruva, he was with KPMG's International Tax and Regulatory practice. He has also worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers in India and the US
Hariharan is a law graduate with over 15 years of experience in tax. He holds a L.L.M. degree from Columbia University School of Law, New York where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone scholar. He completed his L.L.B. from the University of Mumbai and has obtained a master's degree in business laws from the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru.
