Gonzalo Lucas, Deloitte Uruguay (Deloitte S.C.), is the Tax Managing Partner. He is responsible of the Transfer Pricing practice and is also in charge of the Local Manufacturing Industry.
His experience for the past 30 years has focused on providing advice and consulting services to commercial, financial, industrial and service companies. He has participated in many projects delivering integral advice according to the client's specific needs. He has provided advice on corporate tax consulting, mergers and acquisitions, purchase investigations and transfer pricing services.
Gonzalo has participated as a speaker in local events for clients, and has attended several courses and seminars on tax topics, including tax training courses in Argentina.
He has been an instructor in various courses and seminars on tax topics and is the author of several articles and commentaries on tax issues.
Gonzalo is a professor of Tax Legislation at the University of the Republic, and has worked as a former professor of Advanced Accounting and Accounting Theory at ORT University.
He is also the professor of Transfer Pricing in the post-graduate degree program in Taxation at the University of the Republic.
