Victor Li, Deloitte China, is a partner leading the transfer pricing practice in Southern China and the tax managing partner of southern mainland region. Victor has over 10 years of experience providing transfer pricing services, both in China and the United States, helping multinational clients identify and address issues that arise from an increasingly complex transfer pricing regime.
Victor has provided an array of transfer pricing services to multinationals, including transfer pricing risk assessment, documentation, planning, advance pricing agreement (APA) negotiation, cost sharing arrangements, and business model optimization. In addition, Victor has served a broad spectrum of multinational clients in the electronics, information technology, office equipment, pharmaceuticals, chemical, beverage, automotive parts, trading services, and financial services industry. Notably, he was involved in negotiating China's first bilateral APA, and is experienced in assisting multinationals apply for an APA.
Victor has been invited to speak at various transfer pricing sessions at conferences sponsored by the Tax Executives Institute (TEI), the Alliance for Tax, Legal and Accounting Seminars (Atlas), the United States Council for International Business (USCIB), CCH, and PEO Group.
Victor holds a PhD in management. He also earned MBA and economics degrees. Victor is a member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA).
