Roy David Kiantiong, Deloitte Indonesia, leads the Transfer Pricing practice, with over 50 full-time specialist practitioners in the team. Roy has over 20 years of experience in Indonesian domestic and cross-border tax, as well as Transfer Pricing.
Roy specializes in transfer pricing, cross-border taxation, and tax-effective supply chain transformations for companies in a wide range of industries and advises many of these industries' largest players. His experience in transfer pricing includes assisting multinationals in transfer pricing contemporaneous documentation, tax authority transfer pricing audits and disputes, advance pricing agreements (APAs) and mutual agreement procedures (MAP), and both compliance and efficiency-driven transfer pricing/tax advisory.
Roy is also a licensed tax practitioner in Indonesia and a legal proxy before the Indonesian Tax Court, in which he has represented companies during tax authority audit processes up to the tax court dispute process. He also has assisted clients in relation to APA and MAP with the Indonesian Tax Office.
Under his leadership, Deloitte Indonesia was awarded the Indonesia Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year 2017 by the International Tax Review.
Roy advises clients in a wide variety of sectors, including retail and consumer business, automotive, financial services, Energy and Resources, plantations, Technology, Media and Telecommunication, and Pharmaceuticals.
