Peter Yoo, Deloitte US, is an economist and principal with US central region transfer pricing team and leads the transfer pricing practice in Minneapolis.
Peter has worked with numerous clients to evaluate their intercompany pricing policies for purposes of documentation, restructuring, and tax planning. He has worked with clients on bilateral advance pricing agreements, global intellectual property management strategies, and business integration and restructuring. He has also worked with clients to defend against significant proposed transfer pricing adjustments.
Peter's clients include companies in various industries, including consumer electronics, multimedia technology, agricultural commodities, life sciences (pharmaceutical and medical devices), and consumer goods.
Peter is an adjunct faculty member with the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, where he teaches a course in transfer pricing.
Peter has spoken at numerous tax conferences and at various business management meetings and economics conferences. He has published numerous articles in the field of economics, and his research has been cited in various publications.
Peter has a PhD in economics from Harvard University, and a BA from the University of California, Berkeley. In addition to his transfer pricing experience, Peter served as a research economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of St Louis, and as an instructor at Harvard University.
