Agnès joined the tax department of CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats in 1995 after five years at Ernst & Young. Specialising in international taxation, she handles cases in corporate taxation such as international tax planning (intra-group flows, tax treaty optimization, transfer pricing, optimization of the effective tax rate), M&A and reorganizations, tax structuring of complex international contracts.
She works primarily for French companies, advising them in their international expansion. Based during 4 years in São Paulo (Brazil), she also regularly advises:
- French groups regarding Brazilian and Latin American taxation
- Latin America companies investing in France.
Agnès is also specialized in private clients dealing mainly with international tax aspects like treatment of foreign trusts, qualification of foreign income, estate planning, and payroll optimisation for executives.
She is a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA), of the International Bar Association (IBA), and, within the Comité National des Conseillers du Commerce Extérieur de la France (French Foreign Trade Advisors committee), head of the Brazil working group on taxation.
She holds a Masters degree in business law and taxation from the University of Paris II – Assas (1990) and graduated from the Paris Institute for Political Sciences (1988).
A French native, Agnès is also fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
