Parker Bagley is an intellectual property trial lawyer, who has successfully tried numerous patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret matters, both in jury and bench trials in courts across the US These have included jury verdicts of infringement for his clients in patent, trademark and copyright cases. He has successfully tried cases on behalf of Anheuser-Busch, L'Oreal, McDonald's Corporation, Delta Faucet, Baldwin Hardware, and other major corporations. Mr Bagley was named one of the top three trademark litigators in the US in a 1998 survey by Managing Intellectual Property magazine, and has been named a New York Super Lawyer each year since that survey's inception.
Mr Bagley has been successful in dozens more cases which have been decided on summary judgment or reached favourable settlements after obtaining preliminary injunctions for his clients, or after having such relief denied when sought against his clients, often after expedited discovery and evidentiary hearings have been conducted. Clients in these cases have included Tyco International, MetLife, The New York Times Company, Lehman Brothers and Paine-Webber, in addition to those identified above.
Mr Bagley recently relocated to Northern California, where he will head the new Palo Alto office of Boies, Schiller & Flexner. Prior to joining Boies, Schiller in July 2013, he was a litigation partner in one of New York's leading IP boutique firms, Brumbaugh Graves, from 1991-96, which merged into Baker Botts in 1997 where he was a partner from 1997-99. Mr Bagley was subsequently a leading IP partner at Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy from 1999-08, and at Goodwin Procter from 2008-13.
