Francisco Lisboa Moreira practices in the areas of tax, social security and wealth planning. Tax professional with over 18 years of experience, including eight of them working for KPMG and ten as tax partner of renowned Brazilian law firms. Francisco has a wide experience in the tax structuring of corporate transactions and reorganizations, tax planning and international taxation of individuals and corporations. Francisco is a Master in Tax Law candidate at the University of São Paulo (USP) and holds an LLM in International Tax from the New York University School of Law (NYU, 2014). He serves as a member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP, LATAM chapter), the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law (IBDT), the Brazilian Association of Financial Law (ABDF) and IFA. He is also a guest lecturer at the International Tax Law Specialization at the IBDT. He served as Brazilian branch reporter for the Regional Congress of the International Fiscal Association Latin America (IFA LATAM), which took place in Lima (Peru) in 2016, with the topic 01 – "Influencia del Plan BEPS en las reglas de Precios de Transferencia de América Latina" (the influence of the BEPS plan in the Transfer Pricing rules in Latin America). Author of several articles in specialized tax publications, as well as co-author of the book: "Aspectos Contábeis e Tributários do Setor Elétrico", (Lumen Iuris publishing house), and one of the coordinators of the following book compilations: i) "Manual de Preços de Transferência: Brasil, OCDE e BEPS, Volumes 01 and 02" (Quartier Latin publishing house); ii) Temas de Tributação Internacional (Gramma publishing house); and iii) Estudos de Tributação Internacional: Volume 01, (Lumen Iuris publishing house). Francisco is fluent in English and Spanish.
