Attorney at law Terje Arntzen has more than 25 years of varied tax work experience, including working at the Directorate of Taxes, the Oslo law firm Wiersholm, PwC, Andersen legal and Ernst & Young. He has assisted multinationals in tax audits, tax board complaints as well as handling tax and transfer pricing cases before local and appeal courts. He also has extensive experience in managing transfer pricing documentation projects, including intragroup legal contracts as well as APA and MAP procedures. His specialist boutique practice in recent years has focused on advising multinationals on their international tax structuring and transfer pricing projects. Currently he is engaged in projects involving implementing and documenting BEPS adaptation measures for international group companies. He has particular experience in advising oil and gas drilling multinationals, international retail groups and general inbound/outbound tax structuring, and provides specialist support services to other general law firms. He also provides tax due diligence and second opinion services. He has written articles on tax issues in national and international publications, is a co-author of books on taxation and frequently lectures on international taxation issues for master students, other tax practitioners and the Norwegian tax authorities.
Terje received his master of law degree (cand.jur) from the University of Oslo in 1990, and attended the International Tax Program at Harvard Law School, Harvard University (Class of 1997), where he received training in US and international taxation, including transfer pricing. He also studied finance and economics at Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
