Mariann Norrbom is managing partner at Norrbom Vinding. She has practised labour and employment law for over 25 years and is widely recognised as Denmark's leading practitioner in the field.

Mariann was one of the founders of the International Bar Association Global Employment Institute, where she is vice-chair of knowledge management. She has been a member of the IBA's employment and industrial relations law committee for many years and co-chaired it between 2006 and 2008. She serves on the boards of the European Employment Lawyers Association (which she co-founded in 1996) and the International Society for Labour and Social Security Law. For approximately 10 years, Mariann was a member of the labour and employment law committee and the trade and industry committee of the Danish Bar and Law Society. She is on the board of national correspondents of European Employment Law Cases and, between 1988 and 2008, was the editor of the Labour and Employment Law News printed in The Lawyer (a journal published by the Danish Bar and Law Society).

Mariann has served as a court-appointed counsel of the Danish Supreme Court since 1991. In addition, she is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars on all aspects of labour and employment law.

She graduated from the University of Copenhagen, where she has been an external examiner at the Faculty of Law since 1990.
